Founder and Principal

Caryn grew up spending weekends at her grandparents’ lake house, which her father called Camelot, alongside three sisters and a houseful of extended family. The rest of the year, home was a geodesic dome her parents built in the woods of north central Pennsylvania, with no television and every reason to be curious. Those two places taught her what a house can hold: a family, its traditions, and the reasons people keep coming back.

She started practicing interior design in Philadelphia in 1995, and has been NCIDQ certified since 2000. She started Studio Paradis in Chester, CT in 2012. Every project begins with her: she leads the listening, sets the direction, and stays with it until the last piece is in place.

Senior Interior Designer

Haylee learned the Studio Paradis method from the inside: as a junior at Drexel University, she asked the studio for an internship, spent nine months here, and returned full-time after graduating, and has been here ever since. As senior designer, she develops the solutions, drawings, selections, and details that turn a concept into a buildable house, and oversees design during construction. She’s also the one who will suggest the wallpaper you didn’t know you wanted.

Interior Designer

Reagan holds a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Savannah College of Art and Design. She drafts and designs on every project and produces the studio’s renderings, so clients can see a room clearly before anything is built. She’s an unapologetic tech enthusiast and grew up around construction; her father was a builder. That’s why she thinks about how a space goes together as carefully as how it looks.

Procurement and Design Manager

Cara manages everything a project orders: specifications, quotes, lead times, tracking, and the day it all arrives. Before Studio Paradis, she brought an app to market, managed marketing accounts for national companies, and started a catering company, which taught her how many moving parts go into one project while making it all look effortless. She was raised in the coastal hills of Los Angeles. She is the person to contact about anything ordered, shipped, or delivered.

Studio and Materials Library Assistant

Christina runs the studio’s materials library, making sure the design team has everything at hand, from stone counters to wood flooring, textiles, wallpaper, and paint, furniture, hardware, siding, windows, and beyond. Her eye is impeccable. She spends long weekends with her husband at design-driven hotels and restaurants across the Northeast, and she’s happiest in the middle of a flea market.
